arsya’s twenty something life

all day long all i do is sittin’ in front of the computer with my final assignment opened,,hoping that any moment i’ll have the enthusiasm to type anything in it..meanwhile i’m waiting for it to come, i’ll surf the net, play ‘tumblebugs’ or ‘chicktionary’..or even i’ll put on any dvd just to kill time..

but when i just got soooo bored, all i gotta do is turn on my winamp and play the glenn fredly’s version of good times..and hmmm…bliss…

i dont know if it’s the rythme, the music, glenn’s voice, jamie aditya’s amazing performance  or the soul they both bring into the song that makes my soul smiling again…i don’t even care that there’s dewi sandra’s voice in it…the song is too soothing for me to even bother..

so for you guys who haven’t heard it yet, i definitely recomend it for you!! it’s in glenn’s latest album ‘aku dan wanita’
promise you won’t regret it..

it’s just one of the high lights of my day everytime i hear it (and i hear it everday..)
my blissfull moment at the moment… :9

it’s really difficult when u got more than 1 blog, coz u got confuse which one you’ll update or prolly both, but it’s too much work..i have a lot of that now..heheiheihe..(bilang aja malesh kali sya… ;9)

i’m soooooooo bored, tired, maleessshhh bratzzz!!!!
gila tugas bejibun, tapi gak ada satu pun yg semangat gue kerjain..padahal gue udah bela-belain ke perpus, rajin-rajin..tumbern beuneur tuh gue ke perpus nyari bahan buat tugas..tapi teuteup kalo kelamaan di perpus gue pusing..heuheuheu…

udah gitu belom lagi gue nyari-nyari bahan buat TA..kan gue pengen cepet lulusshhh ceritanya..doain aja deh..tadi ke konsultan, nanya2 ttg proyek yg ada di bandung..yah dia punyanya proyek di banjarmasin sama pangkal pinang..beehhh gak ada yg kurang jauh,,kan repot kalo gue mau survey dan ambil sampel, musti terbang dulu ke sana..

nyokap juga saranin di umbulan, di surabaya aja dulu…udah lama sih gak ke surabaya, tapi kaaannn…pengennya yg di bandung-bandung aja deh, paling jauh juga di jakarta..mudah-mudahan aja lancar..mana kata dosen gue itu sih 3-4bulan juga selese..amiieennnn amiiiieennnn…

beeehhh kalau kata lagu dewa yang masih bagus2 jaman dulu..

so okay we’re back to schwalmstadt here just for a day..and tomorrow we’ll go ahead to jakarta..home sweet home!!! our eurotrip for two weeks are over..so the recap from the cities we’ve visited is as followed..:

florence : a nice italian city..it’s kinda small though, i mean every the tourist attraction is walking distance..and the clothing and souvenirs are cheaper here cause they got a lot of markets best place to shop italian writting T-shirts..

pisa : just a small city with a leaning tower..there are a lot of shops too, but the bazar is more expensive than florence and i don’t think it’s worth 15euro to go on top of a leaning tower…hehehhe..so we just took silly pictures of the tower..

venice : fab city. i mean seriously gorgeous..and spend an evening at st. mark is really romantic..there are a couple restaurant there with live music, and they play beautiful songs..it really is a romantic city..though not very nice when it rains..it get flooded quickly, eventhough it was just a light rain..but i think it’s an expensive city in italy, well from those i visited so far..so if you wanna shop in italy, not in venice..

paris : it’s a typical european big city..tour effeil was great, when you get on top of it the view is gorgeous..but louvre is even better..i mean from outside it looks like an ordinary european building, but wait until you enter the denon wing..it really is divine..i mean it’s absolutely gorgeous..!!!they paited and craft the ceiling and..i can’t even explain it’s beyond words…oh and paris is expensive, the food, the shops and the souvenirs off course..

marseille : it’s an old city..it really look like the movie taxi for those of you who haven’t seen it, well you gotta see it..but they got this vieux port, it’s really cool they sell fresh fish and all, and it’s near the center city..and when you’re in marseille, gotta visit the mango store there..not only to shop but the building itself is gorgeous, it looked like a museum inside..oh and the frech riviera is magnificent..it really is amazing, the blue ocean and all…love it!!oh when we were in marseille, we got the chance to celebrate our independence day in the consulate general there..gotta meet a lot of indo people there and the best part is eat indo food..i ate a lot of indo food, believe me…hehehe :9

monaco : a small country, a day is enough in monaco..don’t ask for the shops and hotels and stuff cause we’re too afraid to ask because we know it’s expensive..the view is amazing, cause it’s in the coast and we can see all the country in one day..hehehe..the casino monte carlo is also unique..

barcelona : gaudi is a brilliant!! i mean he really is, to create such buildings as sagrada familia, park guell, casa batllo, la pedreda..i love those buildings..sometimes i wonder how can he think of that..it really is amazing..!! and at barcelona you gotta shop at la rambla..!!and you gotta come at summer cause most of the shops are on sale, so it really is cheaper than other countries in europe..!!

so that’s some part of what i got from my 2 weeks eurotrip.. it was an amazing journey..hope to do that again in the future(ammiiiieeennnn!!!)…i’ll never forget my summer 2005, love it love it love it!!!

okey now i’m in marseille..
seen florence, venice, paris, marseille and an unexpected rendezvous monaco…
well so far this is the sense that i got from every city..
florence=italy
venice=dream
paris=european
marseille=vieux port (old port)
monaco=luxurious..
but it’s been GREAT!!!!
me likey EUROPE..(of course who isn’t)

well yesterday i say goodbye to schwalmstadt and germany, but i’ll be back for one day though..so now i’m in firenze, italia…huhuhuhuhuh..i’m sooo excited..udah berasa deh bedanya jerman sama itali pas di airport..yg pasti cowok2nya beda lah ya..

dan sekarang gue lagi di hostel tempat nginep..untung ada internet gratis..besok mau ke pisa tower..it’s really hot here in italy, because the last we were in germany it was a little bit cold..

so can’t tell u a lot..cuz mau pergi lagi..

but i’m sure enjoying my time in europe..can’t wait to go to other cities..

ps.the gelati here is soooo yummy…

tak terasa udah 7,5 minggu gue di jerman..i was pre-packing yesterday and started to pack my things and putting all the stuff i wont use anymore into my luggage..hhhmmm,, it feels like yesterday we arrived here..time flew sooo fast, c’est rapid..hehehe…

agak sedih juga akan meninggalkan my smallville..though i officially leaving germany on the 20th august but i’m travelling from august 6th..so we wont be staying in germany for a while…

eventhough this smallville is literally small..i mean like teeny town..no downtown and all..but i love it here..we can’t get the atmosphere back home…and the people were very2 nice,,eventhough there are neo-nazis..but as long we didnt have any contact with them like at all, we’ll be fine..

i really hope i gotta chance to go back here someday..amiieeennn…

like i said before..we were in the newspaper..it’s HNA the schwalstadt newspaper to be exact..we were visiting this water treatment plant in schwalstadt and the mayor was there and the press decided to covered it, considering we’re a foreigner and all..they wanted to know how were we adapting here in geman, and the comparison to our beloved country..

but i wasn’t that excited as others..i just feel flat..prolly because all my life people i know was on the newspaper, magazines, tabloids and other medias, so i wasn’t very much excited as probably people would..plus it was a small, tiny town newspaper and i didn’t tought i was such a big of a deal..not to offence people who’s excited..(honestly..)

well the article title was even said :bacteria the best employee..since they’re used to clean the water in case some of u don’t know..hheheuheuhe…and they gt my name wrong, they wrote my name ARSYANTI NURLAISAMARI..huahuahuaha…

so was in berlin last weekend…it was pretty exciting, but it’s kinda a long story altogether so i’ll make it on the day..

friday
it was pretty excited to go to berlin for me, because we’ve been in german for 7weeks now and we haven’t been to the famous city here which is berlin ofcourse..we’ve learned all the history in school right..so it was friday and this is the only weekend trips which doesnt need cutting out some off the working hours we ought to do at the office, cuz the train is leaving after office hour which was 14.14..

so after the newspaper interview (yes, we’ve got newspaper interview, but i’ll get to that later in my next post..)we got back to the office and after that we go to the train station..so we’re suppose to take the intercity (IC) train from Kassel, i may have to expalin you the IC train is the fast train in german, and it cost more than the usual train and it just stop in the big station..so we got to Kassel with the ordinary train and we’re suppose to connect with IC train..but when we got there, we saw the sign on the train schedule, but it was in german..usually when there’s a sign like that, the train was going to arrive late, but the writing was different and people was queuing in front of the station service point so we ask the bakery lady, what was the writing mean..
and she said:"oh, the train is not coming.."
and we thought o train is late…"
and she said "no, the train is not coming.."
and we were like "like never.."
and she replied "yeah.." 
wah agak panik dongg….langsung ngantri di service point kayak orang2, beehhh jadi lah kita naek kereta biasa aja loh ke gottingen, the next big train station near kassel..udah gitu sampe gottingen belom jelas pula ke berlinnya naek apa…mau marah dong rasanya..udah bayar mahal2, meskipun dibayarin kan teuteup…mana pas masuk kereta ke gottingen, ruame pula, sesek dong, plus panas…beeeuhhhh..nyebelin bgt..

udah gitu sampe gottingen, langsung ke service point lagi..tadinya orangnya bilang udah kan sampe gottingen aja, soalnya gue nunjukin fahrplan dari kassel ke gottingen, langsung gue dengan nanda agak tinggi "no no we’re suppose to go to BERLIN"..mana tuh orang gak bisa bahasa inggris..tapi dia untungnya ngerti gue ngomong apa..akhirnya dia printin juga deh plan buat ke berlin..untungnya dari gottingen ke berlin naek IC…akhirnya..sampe juga berlin setelah 1,5 jam perjalanan..tapi gara2 itu, kita jadi telat 3 jam gitu sampe berlin..mana badan udah capek, plus kaki juga udah panas…

langsung nyari hostel kita, yang katanya deket dari train station, jadi kita pikir gak usah lah naek metro..buang2 duit aja, so sesampenya di hostel..kok penampakan luarnya agak creepy gitu yah…tapi alhamdulillah gak sama kayak kamarnya.tapi kita kira ada kamar mandi dalemnya ternyata kamar mandinya di luar bo’..untung kamar mandinya sih bersih..tapi gue gak pernah ke toiletnya..tatut…hihihi…sampe hostel langsung tidur, udah gak kuat..gak ada acara pergi2 lagi dulu…bablas tidur…!!

saturday
so a new day..we’re here in berlin, east to be exact..we found this free tour in a booklet at the hostel so we figured we’ll check it out..there are the 11am and 1 pm tour..tadinya mau yg jam 1 aja, abis jalan2 liat toko2 ceritanya, soalnya deket hostel kita udah banyak toko2 as in shopping boulevard..tapi karena kita kepagian berangkat dari hostel jam setengah 10, toko2 belom buka dan kita udah keburu jalan ke arah meeting point tournya, jadilah kita ikut tour yg jam 11 pagi..lumayan kan gratisan…ternyata guidenya seru bgt bo’..i’m absolutely not a historian type person,,i mean history for me it was the past and let’s keep it that way, just move ahead, seek for a better future.. but the tour guide made the berlin history soooo fascinating..he was so interactive and tell the story lively and i wasn’t even got bored…that was a great improvement for me..

so we check out the gate (which is very famous, it was the royal gate, but then it became the gate between the east and the west..unfortunately i forgot the name..), so then we saw the parlement building..it was very unique..so the dome (roof u may say) was cought on fire like puluhan tahun yg lalu..and now they renovated it so it was made of glass, so people can see the scenery from up the dome and they can even see down where the parlement is working..so metaphornya adalah the parlement is down and the people is up..and the people cud look down and see what’s the parlement doing..now why can’t we have that indonesia!!!just some of example we can copy and learn from them..so we saw lot of building, i mean gorgeous building and hear some story to it also..and ofcourse we saw the wall…and a lot of history was told ofcourse..and this is one of the lutheren church in berlin..

pulangnya..rencananya mau belanja tapi gak kuat, laper.cari makan..trus toko udah pada mau tutup..dasar ya emang org eropa gak butuh duit kali ya..masa toko jam 6 udah tutup, trus minggu gak buka..hehehe…
well another exhausting and wonderful day has gone..but a lot of lessons learned…

sunday
last day in berlin..rencananya kita jalan2 di west part of berlin..berhubung kemaren udah di east melulu..jadilah kita ke daerah berlin zoo…ruamenya..banyak turis dll pastinya…penasaran aja ngeliat zoo, tapi ternyata bayar bo 11euro, jadi lah foto aja di depan gerbang.,.hehehe..itu kerjaan kita kalo males bayar masuk tempat, pasti foto di depannya..
trus kita ke temptower park, ceritanya mau cari patung prussia gitu tapi gak ketemu dan waktu untuk pulang dah mepet..so, kita balik deh…

well but the trip was worthed, it’s freakin EUROPE gitu lokh..every trip is worthed…another lovely weekends past..hhhmmm…lovin’ EUROPE!!
 

well now..been very very grateful to have been to many extrordinary places here in europe..and one of them is VIENNA..last weekend exactly 22-25 of july we go to vienna by train..our train was friday morning, so we cut work and go to vienna, because it took us 7hours to go there by train..hampir tipis gak sih pantat…

trus selama perjalanan ke vienna, kita kan pindah2 kereta, jadi sambung menyambung tuh keretanya..nah di salah satu stasiun di jerman, kita musti nunggu 2 jaman buat nyambung kereta yg akhirnya ke vienna..pas kita lagi di foodcourtnya gitu..tiba2 kita disuruh keluar sama orang..dengan bahasa tubuh dia bilang polizei *he eh gue ngerti* sama ada kata bombnya..well mau gak mau keluar dong..gue pikir ada inspeksi bom atau gimana..trus pas di luar katanya ada bomb threat..emang sih banyak polisi dan semua orang di stasiun di suruh keluar semua, sama diluar ada satu ambulance sama mobil kru tv gitu..tapi kok gak ada tim gegana ya aneh juga…tapi sih gue santai aja lokhh..gak ada perasaan takut atau gimana..aneh juga..gue malah mikir takut ketinggalan kereta yg selanjutnya..kan malesh bo’ musti nunggu 2jam lagi buat kereta selanjutnya..malah si mita yg parno..gue gak ada perasaan apa2..aneh juga..i just wasnt sure that there was a bomb and i guess if there is well my body and my soul belongs to ALLAH so he can give and take whenever he want..so i just pasrah aja kali ya and hope for the best, cause only ALLAH knows what’s best for us..iya gak sihh…

well after only half an hour, the train station was opened again..*that was quick for a bomb threat*..ya gak sih..kayak bo’ongan atau bluff doang…akhirnya perjalanan kita lanjuttt…
so we arrive in vienna at 6pm..and langsung dong jalan2 setelah check in di hostel strawberry (sok imut bgt kan namanya..hehehe..) gila VIENNA bgs bgt..bangunan2nya itu yg bagus2 bgt..gereja2nya juga arsitekturnya gile beuneur..gak kebayang orang bisa bikin kayak gitu…

tapi yg penting juga hari sabtu kan tempat tinggal kita deket shopping street gitu, pastinya harus masuk..meskipun cuma beli celana dalem mickey mouse 3euro..huehuahuhuaha…
shops and sales are two things which always2 attracts me..hehehe…

the schloss alias castle di eropa emang gak ada tandingannya..selain gedungnya guede..pasti selalu dilengkapi dengan taman2 yg luas abiesss dan bgs bgt…kaki gue sampe capek plus kapalan saja gara2 jalan2 mulu..pokoknya pulang langsung pedicure deh nih judulnya…

well..that’s it for today,,btw next weekend insya ALLAH mau ke berlin..prolly i’ll tell you how it goes then..c ya!!
